Living FashionABLY.

A couple of months ago I discovered the brand FASHIONABLE and was immediately drawn to their high quality leather goods and their unique and minimalist jewelry. What I didn't realize was, that was just the tipping point to a truly amazing brand. You all know I am always in such high support of fashion for good brands, and FASHIONABLE is doing so much good both locally and globally. A brand that strives to provide employment mainly to women who have overcome major struggles in their lives and are looking for an opportunity to succeed. These women make the most beautiful pieces and I have added some essential staples to my closet for the Fall season. This look is one I'll probably be wearing on repeat or in some variation all season long, and when you have a handbag as beautiful as this Albera Crossbody you'll never be in the need to swap it out. Of all the ways I have been blown away by the FASHIONABLE brand I was honestly most surprised by how amazing their denim fit. I've been in the market for some fresh jeans for a few months now and seem to continuously find ones that are too stretchy, or if the fabric is nice not the rise I am comfortable with. These are the High Rise in Lorena and I love just how high these sit at my waist and the little raw hem makes them the perfect length for pairing with both the Tatiana Loafer and ankle boots alike throughout this season. These jeans have some give but really feel more like a true denim; I have worn them three times in the past week and they have not stretched out at all, which I am super excited about! I want you to be excited too so if you have some free time please check out FASHIONABLE, they're such an amazing brand and I think you'll enjoy them as much as I do!

Vintage Vibes.

Yesterday was my first day back to reality after a long weekend in Birmingham at Sloss Music Festival, so I opted for a more casual look. Channeling vintage style with these thrift store jeans and this beautifully embroidered top; this top is not vintage but the bold colors and intricate embroidery remind me of something straight out of the 70s and I like styling it with a throwback essence. My go to sandals for the past couple of weeks have been these easy, under $20 faux suede Forever 21 slides you can shop here in a variety of colors.

Happy Summer! Summer is officially here and I have unofficially declared this look as my Summer uniform. I have been waiting to share this top for a couple weeks and am sorry to say the amazing succulent print version is completely sold out, but you can still shop it in other colors here. Since our move I have been quickly turning into a plant lady, with plants in every room and I just can't seem to get enough. The real question will be if I can even keep them alive throughout the rest of the season (so far so good). I randomly stumbled upon these wide leg jeans from Target while wandering around the Target way, and locally they were on sale for under $15 online they're under $30. They are extremely soft and so comfortable and of course I love the line of a high waisted pair of jeans. They paired perfectly with this top tucked in and of course I am all about a neck scarf right now, so I thought it completed this modern girl scout look.

Mimic the Line.

I have been styling and restyling these Cabi crop jeans all season long, seen here and here, but am especially loving them with this Cabi peplum top. I love how the flare of the top mimics the flare of the denim to create a cohesive story with the flare trend. These are great Summer pieces whether paired together or separately but I am definitely loving the combo. Direct links to these Cabi items below and similar pieces linked over there -->.

Blogger of the Month // Updated Denim.

So in love with this final look from my OC Style Report collaboration. There's just something about the modern silhouettes of both this top and these jeans I just can't get enough of. This season is all about giving your skinny jeans a break and trying out a fresh pair of statement denim. Whether it be a wide leg style, like shown here, a high waisted mom jean or maybe even a crop flare step out of your comfort zone and make your look all about the jeans!

The Denim Skirt.

We all know about my love of denim and we all know I'm giving skinny jeans a break this season (for the most part) and what better way to update your fall denim selection than with a killer denim pencil skirt! I've already worn this One Teaspoon skirt twice (in the past two days) so you better believe you will be seeing lots of it in coming months! I love the length which I think makes it perfect for dressing up or down and transitioning from day to night!
