We know I love denim everything, so why not denim overalls as well? I love the combination of them paired with a flowy peasant top; there's a great balance between the straightness of the overalls' silhouette with the blousy, oversize sleeves of the top.

Sunset Hour 70s Style.

Been living in these high waisted flare jeans from Old Navy the past few weeks, I'm not sure what says summer more than a 70s inspired look complete with clogs and peasant top!

Marching into Spring.

Can't believe it's March already?! And while it's chilly and rainy today it was sunny and beautiful two days ago, so I embraced Spring head-on finally wearing this beautiful crocheted, Jen's Pirate Booty top. Something so intricate needed to be paired with something simple, and I thought these woven joggers from Forever 21 were the perfect compliment.

Baja Basic.

There are so many things I love about this Jen's Pirate Booty Baja Beach Pullover, the colors for one, the different textures between the weaving and the gauze body, and the fun silhouette like the oversized bell sleeves. But, I have actually had a hard time utilizing this piece in fresh looks. I've come to realize that with a piece this unique and funky it is best to simplify everything else. I took a dark wash Hudson Krista skinny jean and some ankle boots and created a clean-cut, weekend look, that anyone could pull off!

In.Vest.Ment Piece.

As we transition into the summer season, we're all looking to update our wardrobes; for some it may be on a much larger scale but for most, we  just want a few key pieces to refresh our favorite basics. Either way, for all of us, what we need this season is a denim vest. The key to our summer layering needs, paired over a t-shirt, a maxi dress or a cute jumpsuit, the denim vest will be your best friend taking every look from cute to chic. This one here is a temporary fix until I find my staple vest, I actually cut the sleeves off my old Express denim jacket (here yeah, I meant old) because it was getting too small! Don't be afraid to do the same, that's what refreshing your wardrobe is all about!
