Summer Whites Part 3.

Happy Friday ya'll! I'm rounding out my week of summer whites with the perfect lace tank. This Cabi clothing lace cami is the perfect summer staple because it's so great for day or night. I've worn it a few different ways but my favorite is definitely pairing it with a skinny jean so you can really see the lace detailing around the hemline. I absolutely love a cozy sweater vest for fall, there's something so classic about a drapey layering piece like this Calvin Klein one I found at Marshall's. A great outfit topper for any look day or night!

Jackets have forever been an essential outfit topper providing structure and formality. Lately I've seen countless street style shots and runway looks with jackets topping the outfit but not actually being worn. I have to say I'm a fan. Try completing your look with your jacket perched slightly on your shoulders, works for all styles, blazers, moto jackets and even wool coats for those of you in colder climates!

Matchy in Mauve.

I'm not typically a fan of matchy-matchy looks, but sometimes it's nice to go back to basics and wear a classic, matching outfit. Unintentionally I bought this sweater without realizing how the hue perfectly matched these printed Hudson jeans; after a year of finding the perfect pairing for them I couldn't pass up the chance to wear this coordinated look.

New Year's Resolution: Style Edition.

My New Year's style resolution is to this year, focus on building a strong, versatile wardrobe with key timeless pieces. I'm going to try to take a break from focusing on major trends and fads and mature my wardrobe. To start I've been living in this Free People Boyfriend top, just a classic button down with a subtle print, great for dressing up and down. I've had this for about two weeks and have already worn it 6 times - versatile no?

Litany Jewelry Designs.

On Thursday I had the pleasure of meeting Jen, the uber talented designer behind Minneapolis based jewelry line, Litany. A hand crafted and curated collection of necklaces, bracelets and earrings, all one of a kind pieces made from vintage beads, coins and charms from all over the world. So many beautiful pieces but my favorite of her designs are these delicate tassel necklaces. They're simple yet statement and the perfect everyday piece for women of every age. I'm so glad I got to learn about Litany first hand, thanks Jen.

Florals for Fall.

A variety of floral layers to welcome the first day of Fall. It actually felt a little crisp this morning which was a pleasant surprise after the recording breaking heat wave we've been experiencing. I'm happy that autumn is finally in the air,.. at least a little bit!

Wild Thing.

Getting in touch with my wild side to start the week off. I love some printed pants, plus a little animal print so I'm currently obsessing over these Hudson snake print skinny jeans. I like that the print is subtle and entirely white making them easy for dressing up or down, I'm sure next time you seem them I'll be wearing a plain white tee.
