You guys! I can't believe it's Thanksgiving week already, November is just flying by! This is my first year blogging in a climate where it is actually cold and has real seasonal change so I'm honestly finding it very hard to shoot my looks to share with you all! I'm going to try to keep up with about two a week or I'll need to start getting really creative with just sharing outerwear! This outfit is from the middle of last week and is an eclectic mix of so many of my favorite things. The top alone combines stripes, floral print and embroidery and I still paired the outfit with some faux fur and a touch of snakeskin. For me it works because aside from the bold flowers, everything in this look is very neutral so the texture is needed to keep it exciting! This blouse would also be a great piece for Thanksgiving dinner if you're still looking for a last minute outfit!

Autumnal Florals.
I may have found the most beautiful dress for Fall and what's more perfect than it being called the Autumnal Slip Dress? This Foxiedox midi dress from Anthropologie is the most beautiful rose print I think I've ever seen and I love the classic silhouette and touch of lace. It's a very flattering silhouette on basically all body types and provides a great amount of coverage in the bust along with having adjustable straps. I think this will be a great piece for any occasion this season, but here's a glimpse of how I dressed it down with a denim jacket and crossbody bag.

Edgy Casual.
Sunday afternoon's style consisted of a transitional look with one of my current favorite Cabi pieces, the Hanson Anorak. When I featured this jacket a couple weeks ago I made it pretty clear that this would be a staple in my closet this Fall and for seasons to come and I wasn't exaggerating. I layered it over a more feminine dress to dress it down and give it a little bit of an edgy, casual feel for a Sunday afternoon lunch break with Andrew.

First Day of Fall Fashion.
Happy Friday ya'll, and more importantly Happy 1st Day of Fall! I think my mental preparation for the first day of Autumn is what contributed to all the black clothing this week. I've been trying to re-style some old favorites and breathe new life into my wardrobe by only minor updates, like this Cabi skirt that is the perfect addition to your wardrobe. It's such a staple and will so easily pair with classic pieces in your closet for endless mix and matching! This is any easy look for the weekend, I opted for a ballet flat instead of a bootie here since we are still transitioning and temperatures are a bit high, this is also a good way to add a feminine touch to a slightly more masculine and edgy look.

Current Faves with Cabi.
Alright ya'll, I may say it every season, but once again Cabi has seriously out done themselves once again with the Fall collection. This killer look is neck (sunglasses aren't theirs) to toe Cabi, yes these amazing colorblock boots are theirs, and I am obsessed with every one of these pieces. Not only is this a great Fall transition look, but each of these pieces is so amazing on their own and will definitely be staples of mine throughout the coming seasons and let's be honest probably long after that. I am wearing the Hanson Anorak, such a great jacket because it's the perfect weight for layering over things, is super neutral, and of course I love the updated detailing with these fun, little embroidered birds. Paired it with the the Double V Tee which is like the softest t-shirt on the planet, this season comes in two colors and is only $20. Also paired with the Flip Skirt, which needs no other explanation other than where has this been all my life?! And of course topped off with 1 of 2 amazing shoes from this collection, the Bisset Bootie. I am not exaggerating when I say I'm obsessed with these, between the different colors and the rounded heel, they are seriously a dream and will honestly match everything! Hope everyone is having a great week so far, and this is a great outfit recipe for the weekend especially transitioning from day to night!
Cabi Coziest.
Nothing quite like kicking off the Fall season with some of the coziest new pieces from the latest Cabi Collection. I know it is technically not Fall yet, but it sure does feel like it here in AVL; it is currently a whopping 49 degrees outside and I honestly couldn't be happier sweater weather is here. This plush, ivory turtleneck is definitely going to be a regular in my rotation this season it is so soft, and I love the notched collar so you don't feel too constricted. I admittedly forgot to shoot the back but if you follow the link here to the Cabi website you can see the amazing back detail! I paired it with the zip skinny, an almost micro suede, emerald green skinny pant with little moto zippers in the front. These are such a great color for Fall because they read as a neutral paired with some of your favorite cozy pieces! Hope ya'll are as excited about this chilly weather as I am, have a great weekend!
Heart of Cabi.
There are so many things I love about the Cabi brand, from the amazing women and men who work there to the unbelievably comfortable clothes, but most of all I love how much Cabi always strives to give back and help others. Every season they design one exclusive piece with proceeds going to their Heart of Cabi foundation. For Fall they designed this beautiful Heartbreaker print top and sent one to me and three other rad bloggers to style, here's my look below but head over to the Cabi blog to see some more outfit inspiration!
