Autumnal Florals.

I may have found the most beautiful dress for Fall and what's more perfect than it being called the Autumnal Slip Dress? This Foxiedox midi dress from Anthropologie is the most beautiful rose print I think I've ever seen and I love the classic silhouette and touch of lace. It's a very flattering silhouette on basically all body types and provides a great amount of coverage in the bust along with having adjustable straps. I think this will be a great piece for any occasion this season, but here's a glimpse of how I dressed it down with a denim jacket and crossbody bag.

With oversize proportions being so trendy these days sometimes you find yourself wondering if something is meant to be a top or a dress? This Free People Tree Swing Top is the perfect example its definitely borderline, and while it makes a great match to boots and skinny jeans it is also a fun and flirty babydoll dress. And if it's really too close to call don't be afraid to sneak some shorts underneath like I did! ;)

Fab Florals.

There are so many things I'm loving about this floral blouse from Blue Eyed Girl, it's a great color, the amazing bell sleeves and the keyhole in the back that still works when wearing a regular bra. This is my first pre-fall buy and I know it'll be carrying me through the upcoming season!

Sunshine Day.

Yesterday when I wore this look Southern California was suffering from the inevitable June Gloom, today as I write this it's a beautiful 80 degree and sunny day. I guess you get what you wish for! I like the eclectic-ness of this look and I think it really helps embody my personal style: casual-cool, slightly menswear inspired, lots of texture, a dash of floral print, fabulous shoes: my favorite aspects.

Diverse Denim.

 I absolutely love this Flynn Skye dress, but because of it's uniqueness I don't want it to look the same every time I wear it. The latest solution? Topping off my look with a denim shirt around the waist. This can work for dresses, rompers, even skinny jeans and a tee. That extra layer adjusts your focal point and also creates a belt like effect across the middle of your body. This can totally transform your overall look, not to mention you have a layering piece if things cool down.
