You guys! I can't believe it's Thanksgiving week already, November is just flying by! This is my first year blogging in a climate where it is actually cold and has real seasonal change so I'm honestly finding it very hard to shoot my looks to share with you all! I'm going to try to keep up with about two a week or I'll need to start getting really creative with just sharing outerwear! This outfit is from the middle of last week and is an eclectic mix of so many of my favorite things. The top alone combines stripes, floral print and embroidery and I still paired the outfit with some faux fur and a touch of snakeskin. For me it works because aside from the bold flowers, everything in this look is very neutral so the texture is needed to keep it exciting! This blouse would also be a great piece for Thanksgiving dinner if you're still looking for a last minute outfit!

Happy Combo.
A couple weeks ago on our road trip to Nevada, we stopped by the Primm Valley outlets and my sister and I stepped foot in a Hollister for the first time in I'd say over 7 years. Much to my surprise they barely had their signature bird logo or Hollister written on anything and even more surprising was the ridiculously affordable prices of things. I found this lightweight cowl neck top and utility skirt for under $20 total and thought they'd be the perfect combo for a I want to look Fall but its 90 degrees out look. They paired really well with these lace up over the knee boots, for an any occasion, earth toned look. Moral of the story, next time you pass a Hollister outlet, don't just walk right by! Have a great weekend everyone!

A Few of My Favorite Things.
Here I am, wearing an outfit that is basically the epitome of my fall wardrobe. I pulled three of my favorite pieces for the season and combined them together; what do ya know? It works. I'm surprisingly liking tans and beige a lot more than blacks and grays this season. I'm finding them to be easier neutrals to mix and match. Thoughts?
Feeling Lucky.
Every winter season all of us stylish ladies are faced with the challenge of finding the perfect boots. One would think this to be a relatively easy task, but in my opinion we've gotten far too many choices, making it hard to narrow down. Let alone pick that one perfect all occasion boot to get us through the season! Maybe I can help you on your hunt, because I think I've found my perfect boot this year. Behold the Seychelles 'Lucky Penny.' A classic ankle boot with a dolphin top, barely there heel and double sided zipper. Not to mention these puppies are extremely comfortable and come in 6 colors. So no complaining you've been looking everywhere for black! or red! or blue!

Trick or Tree-ter.
The past two days in SoCal have actually made it feel a little more like fall, and Halloween. I honestly can't believe we are on the brink of November and this is technically Halloween weekend; where did the month ago? Yesterday amongst the gloom and chill I was channeling my inner blase Daria, with a modern twist. Complete with this By Zoe tote, the perfect trick-or-treat bag.
Day by Day.
Simple look today with some of my favorites from Free People. Turned my Free People button down into a High-low but tucking in the front and accented with funky, earth tone accessories. Sometimes simpler is better, and there is nothing wrong with going back to basics.
