Take Me to Paris.

 Got Paris on my mind as Haute Couture fashion week comes to an end today - feeling Parisian chic in a ladylike, layered look.

Matchy in Mauve.

I'm not typically a fan of matchy-matchy looks, but sometimes it's nice to go back to basics and wear a classic, matching outfit. Unintentionally I bought this sweater without realizing how the hue perfectly matched these printed Hudson jeans; after a year of finding the perfect pairing for them I couldn't pass up the chance to wear this coordinated look.

Easy Breezy.

I like starting the week off in an easy breezy, casual outfit. Something simple and classic that can help act as a blank slate for the upcoming week's fashions. I find the less time I spend deliberating an outfit the more I tend to like it looking back. Sometimes it's nice to not think about what you're going to wear and throw on a basic, versatile shirt you know works and be done with it. I love this mixed fabric white button down I just picked up from Ann Taylor, it's knit with a starched, chiffon color, and back yoke, easily to be dressed up or down.

Minimalist Monday.

Keeping things nice and simple to start out the week, sometimes going back to basics is very refreshing, like cleansing your style. I love the ease of a crisp white blouse, and this Banana Republic one is fabulous because of its' versatility. It's low maintenance but still has a little edge; I like the gold zipper detail which was fun to match with the booties to bring out their gold detailing as well.

Polish it Off.

I love throwing on a blazer, or structured jacket with a casual look. Most people think of jackets and blazers as stuffy and uncomfortable, too formal, or too businesslike so they disregard them for every day dressing. Finding a versatile piece like this H&M jacket, that is lightweight with mild stretch and is comfortable for layering is a great addition to your wardrobe! Something so simple can take your look to a whole other level of sophistication, you look totally polished, but you're completely confident and comfortable. Trust me, this isn't hard, and it's a fast way to top of any look whether its jeans and a top like here, or throwing it on over a casual sundress.
