This season is all about statement accessories, like bold earrings, all things scarves and unique handbags. For me, statement earrings are the most exciting trend, because I'm not used to wearing them so I'm really getting out of my shell and daily accessorizing to make them a focal point of my look. The great thing about focusing so heavily on your jewelry and add on pieces is that you can keep the rest of your look pretty simple and neutral and just build off it like a blank canvas. Here I am essentially just wearing a white t-shirt and jeans, though they may both have a twist, the look seems like so much more with the added accessories especially since there are pops of color. I challenge you to try a new accessory this weekend, I think you'll have a lot of fun with it!

The Blanket Scarf.
When it comes to a blanket scarf, the bigger the better I say! Though after seeing yesterday's Instagram post of this outfit Andrew decided my scarf was so big I could be carrying a small child in it, to each his own I guess. This is such an easy, casual look for the season I'm sure you have all these pieces already in your closet but you can scoop up the scarf here for under $15. Have a wonderful weekend everyone and stay cozy!

In Between Accessorizing.
Happy March 1st everyone! Today's weather was seriously gloomy and sort of chilly making it seem like 'winter' again here in SoCal. I know sometimes it can be difficult to dress when you're transitioning between seasons and can't quite keep up with the weather. It's especially hard to shop this time of year, because we're not quite sure which seasons we want to be shopping for. An easy solution for dressing chic and keeping your look updated before you've purchased your latest pieces for the season is playing around with your accessories. You can wear something as simple as a light sweater and jeans but if you keep your accessories up to date you'll look fashion forward and put together. All it may take is a neck scarf and a statement ring to complete your look!

Gypsy Jewelry.
Accented an easy transitional look with some bold, silver, gypsy inspired jewelry. Still figuring out ways to wear this fun coin belt I found on eBay for under $20 - shop a similar one here - I'd love to see how you style yours!
