How bout that weather? When we first moved to Asheville everyone told us we may get one good day of snow all winter, a light dusting they said, well how wrong they were that we were graced with the most beautiful two days of snowfall. I haven't experienced snow like that since I was in high school back in Ohio, and I forgot how magical it was to have a real life snow day. Not joke, work got cancelled so I really did have a snow day! In other news, on that same beautiful day Andrew's brother and sister-in-law graced us with another beautiful baby girl, Lofton Ann, and we are so happy to have her joining us for the holidays! In outfit news, this Field of Flowers coat has been my go-to layer for pretty much everything since Thanksgiving, and it sadly sold out since yesterday, however I linked it in another color here.

Thanksgiving Eve.
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year and I really can't believe it's already tomorrow! This is the first year in a very long time where Andrew and I will be spending the holiday season with his family rather than mine and I'm very excited to see what new traditions it brings. We are starting tomorrow morning watching our little nieces run in the Turkey Trot so I'll probably be wrapped up in these cozy pieces. Cracker Barrel treated me with the perfect little cold weather kit that includes some great pieces to pick up for yourself or as a gift; linked all my goodies below. Hope you all have a very Happy Thanksgiving, I'm very thankful for your endless support over the years and thankful for all the amazing opportunities this blog has given me. It really is the most wonderful time of year, cheers to you all! xx Kirby

It's a Denim Thing.
How's it going everyone?! You've probably all learned whether you've been following along for years or are pretty new to Fashion by Day, that I love jeans. I truly am a denim girl, and can happily wears jeans everyday of the week. For me fit is obviously a major factor but comfort is definitely key! I was recently given a couple pairs of Crafted by Lee jeans like the slim straight's I'm wearing here, and I have to say I'm loving them. The ones I'm wearing with the patch pocket are part of the upcoming collection but I found almost identical ones here, and they're currently on sale for under $25. Even full price their styles are still sitting comfortably under $40 which is pretty amazing for a quality, comfortable pair of jeans. If you're in the market for a new pair of jeans I suggest heading to Target and trying a few pairs out!
