Stay Cool.

Southern California has been hit with the craziest out of season heat wave, and to be honest, I'm LOVING it! Busting out all my summer wear a little early to stay cool and beat the heat. One of my go-to pieces right now are these extremely lightweight, dolphin hem jogger shorts from Volcom. They're easy breezy and you'll be seeing them a lot in coming months!

Yesterday I embraced my California side with a casual, beachy look featuring these amazing Spell Designs Desert Wanderer Shorts. I love the colors and the print and they're great for dressing up or just throwing on over a bikini to head to the beach. Turned to a typical white blouse for easy pairing and added minimal baubles to top off the look. Hope everyone had a great weekend, Happy Monday!

Grass is Always Greener.

I find a lot of joy in many simple things, but there aren't many things as relaxing as laying in the grass. I really wanted to make the colors in this dress pop so I paired it with neon accessories to brighten things up. Neon is a HUGE trend this summer, and I'm still navigating the waters. As someone who feels much more comfortable in darker palettes, accessories are a good place to start.
