Cold Shoulder.

One of this season's hottest trends is the cold shoulder. Whether it be entirely off the shoulder tops and dresses or pieces with shoulder cut outs, this summer we are baring it all! I'm loving this little Zara crop top, because it's an extremely comfortable knit making this trend easy to execute and a simple, black top like this can be extremely versatile in any summer wardrobe!

California Cool.

Yesterday I embraced my California side with a casual, beachy look featuring these amazing Spell Designs Desert Wanderer Shorts. I love the colors and the print and they're great for dressing up or just throwing on over a bikini to head to the beach. Turned to a typical white blouse for easy pairing and added minimal baubles to top off the look. Hope everyone had a great weekend, Happy Monday!

Bella in White.

Love the head to toe white look that's been trending this season, but for me personally it's something I need to ease into. This look was a good place to start, because yes, I'm wearing a lot of white, but I have one statement piece that balances it out. Think of an all white look as a blank canvas that you can add to and layer over with something like this beautiful kimono shawl from Cleobella. I picked it up at the Sydny Showroom Sample Sale Thursday in Costa Mesa. Still going on today til 6pm so head on over!

Budget Bag.

I truly appreciate the art of a beautiful handbag; the smooth leather, a versatile shape, delicate hardware and ornate detailing..but, I'm not one to drop a small fortune on the seasons latest. My handbags get so jam-packed and banged around that I would rather by a budget friendly bag that I can utilize until it dies. That's why I was so excited to find this cute bucket bag from Old Navy for only $24, originally priced at $33, but I used a coupon of course. I love navy for Spring/Summer, and this is the perfect shape and size for on the go! It also comes in tan AND they're having an online sale right now ;) Happy Shopping!

Lessons in Metallics.

This season brightly colored baubles and gemstone statement pieces have lost their sparkle making way for a heavy flow of mixed metals. Jewelry is all about silver and especially gold and you can't go wrong if you're mixing the two. Not only in accessorizing; metallics are becoming a staple to everyday dressing. If you're afraid of attracting attention from outerspace start out by trying something simple like a pair of silver stilettos.
