It's been a hectic week preparing for the fall. A new, full-time job and back to school, on track to getting dual associate's degrees by Spring. To start the week off right, I wanted to wear something lively and bright! My spirits and energy couldn't help but stay up in such a fun outfit.

Adventures of My Burnt Orange Blazer.

Today was bittersweet, it was my last day working at Banana Republic. I felt like I should keep it in the Gap Inc. family and wear this Old Navy, burnt orange, linen blazer I found this past weekend for only $1.97; NO JOKE! I originally bought it simply because of the price (orange isn't really my color), but as the day went on it grew on me more and more. There's something about a feminine dress and blazer that makes me feel powerful; which is appropriate as I'm heading onto new ventures. Starting with working part-time as a visual merchandiser for Irene's Story, a cute boutique style shop in our mall. I think this will be a good change for me, not only is it a great experience, but the aesthetic and style of the clothing is slightly more my personal style. I wonder what my discount is!?

Bright Whites.

Some of my favorite pieces blended together to make one, crisp and fresh looking outfit. This summer is all about white, and even though there is color in this look, I balance it out with a stark white tee. It helps all the pieces look nice and bright, and even helps brighten up my face. The clean lines in the straps of the wedges also help keep this look classy.
