Bomb Cyclone Style.

This is yesterday's SUPER casual Friday look that while pretending I was on my way to a ski lodge, actually faced the single digit temps and ran some errands. I wanted to share this Gap sweater once more while it is still in stock. I posted it on my Instagram last week and got a lot of questions about it, so it is linked here. Currently Gap is having a 40% off your purchase sale as well as free shipping so just use codes HAPPY and FREE at checkout. I'm not lying when I say I've literally worn this sweater everyday for the past two weeks, maybe not all day, but as soon as I got home from work I put it on, I did wash it one day but once it was clean, back on my body it went! It also comes in an ivory color which I'm trying to convince myself I don't need. Also, this Anthropologie beanie just went on super sale for under $12 it is linked here and comes in three colors. Stay cozy out there folks it is brutal and I hope everyone stays safe and warm during this storm.

Room for Flexibility - In Your Wardrobe.

Fall is my favorite season for dressing, it's all about layering and bundling up. I just can't have enough open knit sweaters, and in an average week I'll probably wear my leather jacket at least four times. During this season we have the most options for dressing, because let's be honest you can physically wear more items at a time. Sometimes though we get stuck in a comfort rut, so we, myself included start wearing the same thing over and over just because we want to be warm and cozy. I have a solution, think about mixing in some prints; print jackets, a print blazer, perhaps an all-over print graphic tee or maybe a graphic sweatshirt. You can still layer and be cozy all you want, but this will keep your looks from becoming dull. A good print blazer is great because it's one more layer for warmth, but it keeps your look classic and seemingly put together. This one I'm wearing is from H&M and it is perfect for layering because it has some spandex in it giving it lots of room and flexibility for all the pieces I want to pair it with.

Rice Krispie.

An unbelievably summertime look turned office appropriate by adding one thing, a tailored blazer. A basic knit skirt and tee can be worn just about everywhere throughout the summer, but if you want to take it one step further, a blazer or any other jacket will help polish off the look. And we all know I'm obsessing over white this season, so of course this outfit is one of my faves right now.

Bright Whites.

Some of my favorite pieces blended together to make one, crisp and fresh looking outfit. This summer is all about white, and even though there is color in this look, I balance it out with a stark white tee. It helps all the pieces look nice and bright, and even helps brighten up my face. The clean lines in the straps of the wedges also help keep this look classy.
