NYE Beauty with Neutrogena.

It's the first weekend of 2018 and I've partnered with Neutrogena to share with you my Holiday Healthy Skin Makeup look for the new year. I recreated one of Eiza Gonzalez's red carpet beauty looks for the perfect holiday look. These are all great Neutrogena products but my absolute favorites would have to be the healthy skin primer. Not only does it help with coverage it also has SPF which I love since I recently switched moisturizers to one that has no SPF in it. This primer is great for before applying your makeup or just wearing on its' own as a sunscreen. I am also a bit obsessed with this moisture smooth color stick, I'm wearing it in Fresh Papaya, and its a great subtle color but so moisturizing it'll be sure to last you til the ball drops! If you're looking to update your healthy skin routine, use code 'Healthyskin25' at checkout at Neutrogena for 25% off your purchase, the countdown begins because this code is good through January 31st. Have a Happy New Year!

Sparkle & Shine.

This amazing beaded dress by Free People is one of the extremely rare, don't question it finds from Marshall's. I found this beauty for under $40 during the summer and knew I just had to have it. I saved it for a couple months to wear to the Style Report Magazine Fashion show and have been waiting for the holiday season to be able to wear it to every special occasion I can. I love that during the holidays you can get away with wearing as much glitz, glam, sequins and fur your heart desires and no one questions it! Have you planned out all your holiday looks for the rest of the year?!

Home for the Holidays.

Andrew and I have had our fair share of residences over the years but of them all I'd have to say our new little house in Los Angeles is by far my favorite. Just being out of an apartment immediately makes it feel more like home and I'm so looking forward to spending the holiday season here and continuing some of our favorite traditions and making new memories. I am so in love with this top from She In, the color of course makes it perfect for any upcoming holiday festivities but these oversized statement sleeves are just too fun! I'm sure I'll be wearing it to a party or two over the next few weeks!

A Little Holiday Charm.

Season after season I continue to be surprised with the newest arrivals Cabi has to offer, but I'm seriously so in love with their latest Holiday Charms collection. There is such a classic elegance to all the pieces and the first one I'm sharing is this killer, Grace Jumpsuit. It is such a flattering silhouette for all women and I love the combination of the wider leg and zippered front - which you can totally zip and customize to your comfort level. This is perfect for Thanksgiving and Friendsgiving festivities this month, especially with the sleeveless cut since we are right in the middle of a major heat wave!

Holiday Style with Girl Party.

Christmas is quickly approaching (I can't believe it's next week) and I'm sure all your holiday festivities are in full swing, so I've teamed up with Girl Party to show off this awesome holiday look! I really feel this season you can't go wrong with lace up details so this dress is perfect for day or night occasions, and the subtle touch of glitter adds just the right amount of holiday glitz! To top if off it's under $40! And of course the perfect layering piece, an ultra cozy faux fur coat to finish off your look!

Merry & Bright.

Getting into the holiday spirit nice and early this year with this plaid skirt I made last week. I love the feminine silhouette of a full skirt, making it appropriate for all your holiday soirees, from brunches to office parties. I've decided to tuck away my inner Grinch and let my holiday spirit shine bright, starting today, December 1st.

Attention Shoppers.

Holiday shopping is among us, this weekend being the biggest push of the season. As you're bouncing from store to store you may start to feel your feet hurt, or perhaps you're too hot, or maybe you're just sick of trying things on. To ensure your shopping experience is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, follow these simple guidelines.

- Your main layer should be a piece you can easily take on and off when
trying on clothes = flannel
- Obviously wear comfortable shoes, ones you can walk in for long periods of time and get on and off easily = zipper ankle boots (avoid laces)
- Versatile bottoms are key for trying on boots as well as seeing an array of different tops and sweaters = skinny jeans
-You're going to be running around all day, make sure you have an easy layer for changing temperatures from hot to cold = vest
- Simple accessories, you want less pieces hanging off your body, especially if other layers will be coming on and off all day = watch, this way you stay on top of your perfectly executed schedule

Patriotic Pants.

Fashionable on the 4th of July thanks to a DIY tutorial from Jessica Quirk's style blog What I Wore. Simple pieces complimenting a very patriotic pair of pants that I painted Tuesday night. A little arts & crafts always helps get me into the holiday spirit. Sadly, I pretty much only got to wear this American ensemble for a couple of hours, because we had a very gloomy day, and it was cold and windy. I guess June gloom didn't get the memo that it is July.
