Give the Gift of Hope.

If you haven't already I'm sure now that Thanksgiving has past most of you have started on your holiday shopping, I know I made my first push this past weekend! For those of you still putting your lists together I wanted to share a great gift idea that I'm very passionate about from Soapbox Soaps. You probably remember me mentioning them here a few months ago and what an amazing one for one brand they are. Not only are they great products but they also help those in need. For the holidays they have a handful of beauty bundles like the nourishing Coconut Bundle shown below and for each bundle they donate 5 bars of soap to those who need it. It's a great gift for anyone on your list and is priced at 29.95 but with code 'bestgift17kirbymorris' you can save an additional 10% off. Happy Holidays and happy shopping everyone!

One Jumpsuit // Two Ways.

I feel like a black jumpsuit is becoming such a staple in any gals wardrobe, they're versatile and can be easily accessorized for basically any occasion. I love this jumpsuit from Cabi Clothing, it's such a flattering silhouette with it's cinched waist, v-neckline and 3/4 length sleeves. I styled this two ways to give you a little inspiration for your Thanksgiving day looks. Whether you're traveling to visit family and want a more casual look or you're aiming for a little more holiday glitz, this jumpsuit easily does the trick. And the kicker is, it's relaxed enough that know one will be able to see how much turkey you've eaten!

Tulle Skirts for Holiday Dressing.

With another week full of holiday parties ahead, most of you are probably running out of festive outfit ideas. I love tulle pieces this time of year, they feel cheery, and wintery without necessarily having to be red and green and striped and glittered and jingle belly! For this look I didn't even use a tulle skirt I just layered a cozy sweater over a tiered dress. Even if it's not traditional holiday colors I like to add a pop of color, and a metallic touch never hurts when trying to deck the halls!

Not So Ugly Sweater.

In honor of National Ugly Christmas Sweater day, I thought we should take a moment to reflect on the this joyous day. What started as a joke a few years back to bring some lighthearted and immature fun to the holidays, where everyone was scrounging up all of Grandma's old holiday sweaters and hitting thrift stores across town to attend parties with friends and mock one another. With vintage inspired pieces becoming such a trend in recent seasons, I'm starting to find more holiday sweaters making their way to current stores and becoming, well, much less ugly. For instance I'm loving this Free People Rudolph Sweater, it has just the right blend of holiday spirit, but keeps to the perfect palette of colors and maintains such a versatile silhouette. You won't see this baby at any Ugly Sweater parties!

Merry & Bright.

Getting into the holiday spirit nice and early this year with this plaid skirt I made last week. I love the feminine silhouette of a full skirt, making it appropriate for all your holiday soirees, from brunches to office parties. I've decided to tuck away my inner Grinch and let my holiday spirit shine bright, starting today, December 1st.

Attention Shoppers.

Holiday shopping is among us, this weekend being the biggest push of the season. As you're bouncing from store to store you may start to feel your feet hurt, or perhaps you're too hot, or maybe you're just sick of trying things on. To ensure your shopping experience is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, follow these simple guidelines.

- Your main layer should be a piece you can easily take on and off when
trying on clothes = flannel
- Obviously wear comfortable shoes, ones you can walk in for long periods of time and get on and off easily = zipper ankle boots (avoid laces)
- Versatile bottoms are key for trying on boots as well as seeing an array of different tops and sweaters = skinny jeans
-You're going to be running around all day, make sure you have an easy layer for changing temperatures from hot to cold = vest
- Simple accessories, you want less pieces hanging off your body, especially if other layers will be coming on and off all day = watch, this way you stay on top of your perfectly executed schedule
