WWW Style.

It's no secret that the Who What Wear Collection available at Target is seriously killing it. They are constantly releasing new on trend items that are surprisingly good quality and can easily take you from work to play. I find myself roaming around Target pretty regularly and perusing their apparel sale, where this past week I found this Who What Wear top for under $15. Of course I love it because it's black and white, but I love the femininity of the silhouette yet the little bit of edge because the polka dots. It was on sale at my store but you can still buy it online at regular price which is still under $25. I opted for an all black look but added some more funky elements with my leopard print belt from Old Navy and my two toned Cabi Booties so the look wasn't too serious! Because let's face it, who wants to take themselves too seriously?!

Long Over Lean.

Restyled my tunic from last week for a modern feminine look with an edge. This Anama blouse from Anthropologie is currently on major sale, and I am loving its' versatility for Fall. Overall between the two looks there isn't too much different aside from one being worn closed and one being worn open as a kimono. Since wearing it buttoned up makes it little more girly and playful I opted for edgier accessories for a contrast that is more reflective of my style! Shop the tunic here!

Black Swan.

I wore this look on Friday and between the tulle dress and the lace up ballet flats I felt like a ballerina. Most of you don't know I did ballet for 13 years growing up and I don't think it ever leaves your blood. I found this dress on super sale at Anthropologie so it is of course sold out but I linked a similar one here. Once again this is one of those pieces that may seem too formal to wear on a Friday afternoon, so I did my best to make it more casual with a flat shoe and anytime accessories. Not that I don't appreciate a good special occasion piece, but when something is so special why hide it away in your closet? Hope ya'll had an amazing weekend and here's to a great week!

Spring Uniform.

Gearing up for the heat wave heading to Los Angeles this week, with temperatures supposedly rising into the 80s. Loving this fun and flirty cold shoulder blouse from H&M; totally fell in love with the girly ruffle details. I'll be dressing this top up and down all season long from pairing it with some vintage cropped jeans and sandals to styling it with denim cut offs and some white sneakers. Also if you haven't checked it out yet the Dolce Vita x Target collaboration just keeps getting better with so many amazing goodies this season like my clutch and shoes (which also come in tan) shown here.

Gray Days // All Black Haze.

This look materialized from the hat, and since it was such a gloomy, damp day I couldn't steer myself towards any color besides black. Here's the result:

Midnight Blue & Monochrome.

Sometimes matching items to a certain piece can be difficult. These pants for example I have had for months, but could only seem to want to wear them with the obvious choice, white. But there was something about the contrast of bright white against the printed pants that wasn't working for me. I found this 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target sweater yesterday on super sale, and decided that a monochromatic look is exactly the sort of outfit these pants were destined to be a part of. There's something about the midnight blue top that helps make the pants more subtle, not overpowering the look. The key to monochromatic looks is add some contrasting or neutral accessories for balance. Happy matching!

To a Tee.

Never under estimate the value of a great t-shirt. If you have a tee in a flattering fit and a quality fabric, you can make it work for any occasion. A luxury t-shirt can become the star of a simple daytime look or a silent observer as part of a more intricate outfit. I'm loving the contrasting colors of this Bailey 44 Three on a Tree Top black and white tee; it's perfect for going from day to night.

Top Knot & Polka Dots.

Embracing lots of color with this look, focusing on emerald green. Found this versatile, reversible skirt on super sale at Target and couldn't be more excited to add this jeweled beauty to my wardrobe. The pink and green are a great contrast, with the denim jacket and neutral sandals toning them down and the beaded necklace bringing all the colors together. You'll be seeing lots of emerald this upcoming season and for me this skirt was the perfect place to start.
