Windy in Wide Legs.

Wide legs, flare legs - print pants, palazzo pants, all our favorite retro inspired bottoms are taking the summer fashion scene by storm; and for yesterday's breezy, SoCal morning these print palazzo pants from Forever 21 took over the FBD fashion scene. These pants were a little bit of a gamble, being that they were less than $15, yes you read that right, and I also have a hard time nailing down fit from Forever 21, but I'm a happy camper to now be able to throw these on for on the go, easy dressing.

Bold Pops of Color.

I love adding a bold pop of color to any look using a fun, statement accessory. I've found myself wearing A LOT of neutrals and blacks lately and I felt yesterday I needed to liven things up. I love the contrast of these printed soft pants and this statement, vintage clutch. Between the bold colors and the mixed prints and textures they compliment each other really nicely.

Plain Prints.

Fun printed pants: harem, joggers, bells, wide legs, you name it, are a major must-have for Summer style. In many cases such as here (with these wide legs) the pants alone may be overwhelming so it's important to remember that when creating an outfit, simple is probably going to be better! A basic t-shirt can go a long way when paired with such a funky piece!

Print Pants.

This gorgeous Louis Vuitton bag was an extremely generous gift from Andrew's mom; she has been accumulating a collection of Louie's for years. After finally getting enough nerve to carry this beauty out of the house (it's probably the most luxurious thing I've ever touched), I've realized it is the perfect bag. Great size, perfect handle length, will go with everything! Thanks so much Pukka!

In other news: I've really been enjoying my role as a visual merchandiser, there is so much creativity that goes behind each display, and I know it's really gearing me up to be a stylist! The stores owner, Irene, is a believer in fast fashion, so I've been trying to control my spending, when new merchandise hits the floor, EVERY other DAY! I did splurge and buy these awesome floral print jeans. I'll be honest, I'm obsessed and if they weren't so memorable I would probably wear them everyday!
